The History of Tapemark
In the early 1950's, Tapemark pioneered a technique for printing on clear, self-wound tape. That innovation coupled with industry advancements in paper and film materials propelled Tapemark into a leadership position in the printing and converting of pressure sensitive adhesive labels for primary product identification and labeling. Our expertise in material sourcing, web handling and precision die cutting led to further partnering with customers to develop adhesive based components for medical, electronics and automotive market needs.
Today, Tapemark provides integrated coating, printing, converting and packaging of components and end products for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer products industries. Tapemark's campus of buildings includes numerous Class 100,000 clean room and white room suites, on on-site laboratory testing for both incoming materials and finished product release. Our customers trust Tapemark for our design and development, manufacturing, project management, quality systems, service and regulatory capabilities that deliver on their specialized converting needs.
Throughout the years, Tapemark has consistently given back to the community through generous charitable contributions and events, including the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament. Since its inception in 1972, the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am has generated over $5 million to strengthen local agencies that meet the critical needs of people with learning and developmental disabilities.
